This website is automatically updated in real time (multiple times per minute) with weather observations from a Acurite Atlas personal weather station located in Millhousen, IN. Weather data is received by weewx on a Raspberry Pi using a RTL-SDR Dongle and a 433Mhz antenna to get archive data and the live website feeds. The weather station provides the following readings:
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Wind speed
- Wind direction
- Rainfall
- Barometric Pressure
- Lux
- UV Index
- Lightning Strike Count and Distance
The rest of the observations on this website are done via software calculations and quality control checks to make sure the data is valid.
